Asparagus with sesame and shrimp
Asparagus is very tasty when combined with Asian flavors. Sesame and shrimp asparagus can be served with noodles or rice with vegetables and saffron.
We need: a tablespoon sunflower oil, a small root of grated ginger, 400 g asparagus, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 1 chopped red chilli, 200 g shelled shrimp, one tablespoon sesame oil, one tablespoon sesame seeds,juice from a lime, plus slices of lime for serving.
We’re preparing the asparagus. We break or cut each asparagus where the stem color opens. The easiest way to prepare the asparagus is to steam it for 3 minutes or scald it for 2 minutes.
Preparation mode: break the asparagus threads and scald them for 2 minutes in boiling water. Drain the asparagus water and boil the prawns for 7 minutes.
Heat the sunflower oil in a wok pan, add the ginger, asparagus and leave for 1 minute. Put the garlic, chilli and shrimp and leave for another 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the oil, sesame seeds and lime juice. Serve immediately with slices of lime.
