Green tea keeps us from infection

Green tea improves memory and orientation in space. Regular consumption of green tea can always compete with allopathic treatments against depression and anxious conditions, past fertility disorders that can put their mark on the neurological development of future children. Viral infections as well as other common bacterial infections can affect our ability to concentrate and learn. A green tea works wonders in this regard.

Green tea contains up to 40% antioxidants, active substances, vitamins and minerals: vitamins A, B, E and C, iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, tea, amino acids, proteins and alkaloids with nerve stimulating effect.

The main substance contained in green tea, EGCG (epigalocatechin gallate), a very powerful antioxidant in the polyphenol group, is found exclusively in the leaves of this tea. Regular consumption of tea, provides protection against degenerative diseases that tend to settle with age and that are associated with memory loss.

Green tea from the best quality leaves, is one of the most concentrated sources of antioxidants. This tea contains a relatively small amount of caffeine (approximately 20-45 milligrams per cup), compared to black tea and coffee (95 milligrams per cup).

The immune system. Green tea helps eliminate free radicals, which decrease the efficiency of the immune system and have a toxic effect on the body. Antioxidants in the form of polyphenols, prevent premature damage to cells and control their functions.

We can say that this tea works wonders, eliminating harmful substances that enter the body and preventing their effect on tissues. It creates a barrier that doubles the defense provided by the immune system.

Anti-aging effect. This tea delays the aging process of the skin. Due to the presence of antioxidants, it protects us from UV rays, delaying cell aging. Helps to support and regenerate the skin in case of sunstroke or sunburn. This is why it is recommended to drink green tea with ice and lemon juice insummer.

Helps metabolism. Green tea is recommended in slimming diets due to its effect of training short-term metabolism. This increase in metabolic rate leads to faster fat burning. Although it has no quick and miraculous effects, it is a reliable help in complementing food, sport and water consumption.

Many scientific studies argue that green tea can help us fight obesity, due to the ability to burn fat in predestined areas, such as the abdomen. Adipose tissue is predominant in this area especially in obese people. When we diet we can confidently opt for green tea and due to the fact that it gives us more energy and muscle tone.

It helps memory. It is beneficial both to young people but especially to the elderly. Regular lifetime consumption of green tea reduces the risk of premature aging, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and dementia. It is already known that the role of caffeine is to keep us awake, but we don’t know how it works. Caffeine blocks in the brain an inhibitory substance called adenosine and increases the secretion of dopamine and norepinephrine. Brain functions are improved, memory is more active and mood better.

Green tea contains in addition to caffeine and the amino acid L-teain, with strong antidepressant effects. In combination with caffeine, this substance creates effects similar to coffee, but reduces their intensity at the moment. Unlike coffee, which sharply increases the reaction time and energy in the body, green tea heals the nervous system in the long run.

Bacteria and viruses. Polyphenols present in green tea have proven useful in the fight against bacteria and viruses, such as influenza virus. Drinking this tea is essential for our immune system, especially as a prevention.

Numerous studies on other defensive effects of polyphenols have also been observed in oral conditions. This tea has beneficial effects in the case of caries and tartar, by eliminating harmful bacteria that can cause gum infections or bad breath, even oral cancer.

Matcha powder. Who loves green tea, then must necessarily try the purest, flavorful and healthiest form of it: Matcha powder. Matcha tea is ideal for a Japanese ritual that relaxes and energizes us at the same time. It can be used for teas, desserts and even luxurious facials.

Cholesterol, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Regular consumption of green tea lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease and cholesterol by up to 31% and 42% less likely to develop type II diabetes. This tea balances cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Cleans blood vessels, improves its circulation and oxygenation. All this significantly decreases the risk of developing heart disease.

Green tea increases the body’s sensitivity to insulin and encourages its production naturally. In this way we keep blood sugar levels under control (tea is drunk unsweetened), decreasing the body’s resistance to insulin.
