Recipe of grilled tuna with bananas
Ingredients: 1 very ripe mango, 1/2 cup water, 2 sliced bananas, 1/4 cup raisins, a tablespoon olive oil, 500 g tuna fillet, salt, pepper.
Preparation: in a pan we put the water to boil. We add the bananas, the mangoes and the raisins and keep them for 10 minutes on the fire. We leave everything to cool in the same pan. We put the pieces of tuna on the grill, two minutes on each side. Once we take them off the grill we sprinkle them with olive oil. On top we sprinkle salt and pepper to taste. It is served alongside the banana sauce.
The combination of fish protein and sweet fruit sauce is only recommended occasionally at a festive meal. But we can savor it without restrictions by replacing the sweet fruits, with a sauce made of sweet roots: celery, parsnips, carrot, parsley and beetroot. This way grilled tuna with vegetable sauce can be enjoyed even on fasting days. Bon appetit!
