Ramona Pintea – Urban Queen
Ramona Pintea is an established artist, who likes to paint in oil, acrylic, but also to combine various materials and techniques. Her works have been exhibited in Europe and the United States. The superb creations that bore her signature were made for the cosmopolitan society of Great Britain.
As an artist, Ramona made her debut in 2013, when she was invited to exhibit her work at the Fusion Art Gallery in Miami at the prestigious Basel Art Fair. Ramona is the author of the Urban Queen series of works and the creator of the #wearyourcrown campaign, launched on March 8, 2022, in Washington DC.
Ramona Pintea is famous all over the world because of her unique creations, colorful, full of life and at the same time full of mystery. The famous paintings seem to be meant to take your breath away through the theme approached, unique, but also through the special style, each work of the artist invites you to stop as if from your time, to meditate a bit, to go into other temporal planes, and then to come back again loaded with happiness.
Ramona Pintea’s paintings are a fusion of abstract and figurative art, vibrant, colorful, connects you with another dimension, but it is as real and available as possible. “In search of my own self, I discovered myself,” says Ramona. “I have a mission, to empower women through art.”
Her bold and uplifting creations have gained action among art lovers, collectors and followers around the world. She exhibited his works in famous art galleries in Miami, Hong Kong, Philippines, Great Britain, Canada, Norway, Lithuania and of course in Bucharest.
Painting is much more than a career or an artistic passion for Ramona. The artist combines the beautiful and unique qualities of women, creates a connection with ordinary women, in the idea of a movement of empowerment and change, in order to regain self-power.
In many of her creations we find a royal crown, the supreme symbol of strength and courage. This symbol also means someone who serves his people with dedication, diplomacy and determination.
In July 2022, in collaboration with the romanian street artist Ortaku, Ramona completed her greatest paintings to date. They are located in the vicinity of one of the most visited tourist attractions in London, with historical significance, namely, Marble Arch.
The two murals with dimensions of 5/9 meters and 5/6 meters, respectively, are located inside the feya restaurant, whose patron is the famous chef Zahra Khan. The murals depict Urban Queens carrying inspirational messages, as well as the motto Wear Your Crown.
Shadows & Sparkles Painting Exhibition
Between 10th and 19th of November, 2022, Stejarii Country Club hosts an exclusive exhibition of works made by Ramona in her workshop in Bucharest and in the one in London, during the last five years. The works of art explore the complex and challenging role of the woman of the modern world. All of Ramona’s work can be seen and bought online from her website.
Wonderful friends, older and newer, collectors, art lovers, took part in the opening. Ramona felt that all of us: “We have the inner strength to do more than we think and more than we ever imagined, you wear your own crown.”
What is the secret to success?
“I have very high standards. All the time I have the impression that I have not worked enough and I can’t wait to get back to work. The difference between success and failure lies in the way we trust ourselves and look at the situation. In whatever situation we find ourselves in, it is good to be optimistic and to go towards solutions, because they always appear.”

“This exhibition represents the end of an era for me, I feel like I’ve finished what I had to say with these paintings and I have no idea what I’m going to paint next. I wanted to honor this art season that I have created in the last 5 years, presenting a selection of 24 pieces of art and to make them available to my audience in Romania.
