Chakras – the cogs of energy
The chakras are the energy wheels in our body, they are the centers resulting from the intersection of the main energy channels that cross our body. There are seven main chakras, located along the spine and thousands of other secondary chakras. Their activity allows the manifestation of the full potential of a human being.
The flowers, the plants, the trunks of trees and we humans are made of cogs, which spin and they are all on the great wheel of the Earth, which is spinning in its orbit from space. The fundamental structure of nature, the wheel, represents the cycle of life that flows through all aspects of existence. The chakras provide powerful tools for both personal and planetary growth.
Our chakras form as the basic centers, the network of coordination of our complicated mind-body system. These seven vibrating centers form a connecting channel that connects Heaven and Earth, mind and body, spirit and matter, past and future. Chakras are also called lotuses, symbolizing the opening of the petals of a flower, which metaphorically describes the opening of a chakra. In India, lotus flowers are considered sacred.
The first chakra: located at the base of the spine, is associated with survival. Its element is the earth.
The second chakra: located in the lower part of the abdomen, it is associated with emotions and sexuality. Its element is water.
The third chakra: located in the solar plexus, it is associated with personal strength, willpower and respect for oneself. Its element is fire.
The fourth chakra: located above the sternum, is associated with love. Its element is air.
The fifth chakra: located in the throat, is associated with communication and creativity. Its element is sound.
The sixth chakra: located in the middle of the forehead, is associated with clairvoyance, intuition and imagination. Its element is light.
The seventh chakra: located in the crown of the head, it is associated with transcendent knowledge, understanding and consciousness. Its element is thought.
Foods that balance the chakras
The therapist specializing in chakras can advise you what foods to consume to balance the energy that leads to the proper functioning of the body. There are situations when the chakras can be blocked, the energy level decreases, and imbalances and diseases appear. An energy cleaning is required to unlock these centers to put you back into the flow of life.
Elements in foods that give them their color, such as beta-carotene, which gives the orange color of carrots, play an important role in balancing us. Digested food generates an energy on the frequency of vibration of its color. These nutrients are absorbed by the cells through the blood. For optimal health it is good to consume fresh foods with colors that reflect the chakras.
When a chakra is overactive, it is good to consume opposite foods, to neutralize it and implicitly balance it. When it is too lazy it is good to activate it, to dynamize it by eating foods specific to its color. For example, when the basal chakra is too lazy we help it by eating red and spicy foods such as chilli. In case it is overactive we refrain from such food.

It is good to listen to the signals of our body and correctly interpret its messages. In this way we will resonate better with our body and make room for the abundance and gifts with which we have all been endowed. Eating foods with a certain color can help balance the chakras. Here are some examples:
Basal chakra. Color red. A lazy basal chakra can be balanced by eating red fruits and vegetables, such as peppers.
Sacral chakra. Orange color: oranges, carrots and other foods of orange color such as pumpkins, peaches and sweet potatoes.
Solar plexus. Yellow color. Citrus fruits stimulate the physical and emotional activation of the solar plexus chakra. Bananas consumed in moderation calm her down.
Heart chakra. Green color. Lettuce, greens and vegetables of green color such as: cabbage or spinach, purifies and balances the whole body.
Throat chakra. Bright blue color. Fruits: plums, grapes, blueberries.
Chakra of the third eye. Color indigo. Foods: blueberries, plums, eggplants, balance us on mental and spiritual levels.
Crown chakra. Color purple, white.
The chakras are the pieces of a system that it is good to perceive as a harmonious and interwoven whole. Regardless of the purpose for which we use the chakra system, whether it’s therapy, personal development, or making a diagnosis, this system must be viewed as a whole. Any bottleneck that affects one part of the system will affect the others as well.
The chakras must be in balance with each other. Here are some questions that are good to concern you with. What habits do you have? What are the dreams and activities you have? Do you suppress your emotions? Do you work too hard or avoid physical activity? These patterns and many others can highlight the existence of blockages caused by closed chakras, which prevent us from having a fulfilled life on all levels and receiving the prosperity we deserve.
