What research says about artificial bronze
Artificial tan increases the risk of diabetes. A chemical found in household and cosmetic products, such as self-tanning products, can cause diabetes, according to a study published in the journal Diabetes Care and subsequently published in Romania by MediHelp International.

UK media reported that this substance can cause obesity, as well as other health disorders. Research suggests that exposure to a group of chemicals called phthalates is associated with type 2 diabetes. Once the chemical has been metabolized in the body, it can increase the risk of diabetes, affecting the way insulin is processed.
