Cleaning the house
Cleaning the house is as important as personal hygiene. We need personal care products, but also a harmonious and healthy home, say Feng Shui experts. Okay, but what’s the connection between Feng Shui and the personal hygiene products in our bathroom you’re wondering!? Beyond all the aura of magic and mysticism surrounding Feng Shui are the general features of a healthy and safe living environment.
Cleaning the house with natural non-toxic products contributes to our health, both mental and physical. Have you ever wondered what the toxic threats in our home are? Few of us have immediate severe reactions to ordinary household products when we use them occasionally. We consider them benign or quite harmless. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly apparent that a large number of ordinary things in the home have imperceptible effects at first, but increasingly visible as they accumulate, along with the effect of daily stress and unhealthy feeding.
Many home cleaning products, along with many others inside it, are slowing down our immune system, cracking it, creating the conditions for developing serious conditions. It’s no joke, toxic chemicals can cause a lot of harm if we ingest them directly or come into contact with more sensitive parts of the body, such as the eyes.
Chemicals are also absorbed through the skin and when we breathe their toxic fumes. Physical reactions to contact with them can be skinirritation , eyestings , dizziness, headaches and asthmatic symptoms. Secondary reactions can occur in the form of temporary states of depression, fatigue and disorder.
The immune system of children affected by the stress caused by chemicals, present in personal hygiene products reduces the chance of developing naturally, which leads to an increase in the number of allergic conditions and other imbalances that were very rare many years ago.
Simple and healthy alternatives
Many of us purchase various chemicals for cleaning the house. These are the most dangerous products in the home, with ingredients that can cause simple eye stings to terminal cancer, and a home requires the use of up to 20 kilograms of such chemicals annually.
There is a wide range of poisons contained in these products, so I can offer below some simpler and healthier alternatives for cleaning your home with non-toxic products:
White vinegar with water in a ratio of one to three is an excellent window cleaner and can also be used for wiping the floor.
Baking powder with lukewarm water – we get a paste with which we can clean very well delicate surfaces. Add water to the baking powder and rub until we get the desired consistency.
Baking powder, salt and water, an abrasive solution for rubbing. We prepare the amount we need for use, adding more salt if we need to rub harder.
Borax, laundry soda and white vinegar, one teaspoon each, plus two cups of warm water, is an ideal product to clean in the bathroom.
Non-toxic cleaning products can be found in special stores or online. Feel free to purchase products as natural as possible! Health matters!
